Welcome to aggiestories , my fic journal. This will eventually contain all of my stories (even the ones that embarrass me *cringe*), so I can keep them in one place. All entries will be public, unless by some miracle I decide to write something more mature. If that's the case, I'll filter it to people who are old enough to legally read it (and can prove it some way) *shrugs* Got to protect myself, you know?

What will you find here? Drabbles, one-shots, short stories...whatever I write, most likely. My main fandom is Harry Potter, although I'm starting to dabble in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I'm a canon shipper (*gasp*), and if you're looking for Harry and Hermione in any sort of relationship that isn't a friendship, you're out of luck. I'm also a Neville fan-girl, so you'll see some stories starring him come floating through, too.

Summary: It's Christmas at the Burrow, and it's shaping up to be an interesting one. After a surprise visit from her prat of a brother and the Minister of Magic, it's up to Ginny to talk to Harry. A HBP missing moment.

Author's Notes:  This was originally written for mah_ankh during the 2006 winter round of the hpgwficexchange and I'd just now realized that I've never posted it here.  mah_ankh requested this scene and wanted the story to incorporate a frozen lake, a snowman, and a talk by the fire.  Because of when this fic is set in HBP, it's more of a pre-H/G story than anything. In other words, Harry's chest monster has already put in an appearance, but Ginny is still going out with Dean.

Author's Notes: Written for downjune for the 2012 springtime_gen fest and originally posted here. downjune's prompts included "Head Boy Cedric in Detention with Umbridge" and said that communication was a big thing for her, and this fic was born.

When I started writing this, I thought that I was being original, but then I realised that magikcatfics did something similar in last year's springtime_gen with her fic, Ministry Business, Official or Otherwise. Unfortunately, I'm not as talented as magikcatfics is, so you don't get the fancy parchment and letterheads.

Author/Artist's Notes: Written for snuggle_muggle, for the 2012 takingitinturns fest, which had the theme of mirrors and reflections. snuggle_muggle asked for the reflections to be themes/actions repeating themselves again after a few years either by the same person or by a different generation. She also asked for Lily and James' actions repeating in Harry and Ginny, but, well, Lily and James were being highly uncooperative. Molly, however was was more forthcoming.

Notes: Written for the summer fest at hg_silverlining, as a fill for the following prompt: The Weasley brothers have a good talk with Harry and set rules for him about dating their sister. Or set some tests for him to prove whether or not he really does deserve her. So, this was supposed to be posted back in August, but I was thrust into a Ginormous Experiment of Doom at work, and between working late and working weekends and trying to balance that with my family, writing just didn't happen. At least I finished it eventually, right? *hangs head in shame*
